It's Taking Too Long to Think of a Title For This Post
This morning, despite suffering from a horrible pain due to a relentless migraine attack, I whipped out my phone, logged on to Facebook and convinced my thumbs to type out the following:
"Insomnia or migraine, which would you pick?"
Looking back, it sounds as though I consider both the migraine and the insomnia to be simply irresistible treats that everyone wants a piece of. Sigh.
That's what you end up doing when you post something while suffering from migraine which may have been a result of the recent insomnia. It seems like they've decided to take turns and visit me like relatives and friends visiting you when you're sick! Plus, I'm actually really lazy to type out stuff on my phone, and made the status update as short as I possibly could. Seriously though, if you are familiar with both, which would you rather have? (The (ahem) lesser evil, so to speak)
In my case, right now I think I'd rather go with insomnia.
Insomnia, of course. Then you can stay up late and end up getting migraine ... LOL!
ReplyDeleteHope your migraine is gone by the time of this comment posting.
Nope, it's still around, sadly.
DeleteOr you can toss and turn in bed thinking about sleeping ;)
Ugg I would not want either, so would not choose. If I had to I'd flip a coin.
ReplyDeleteTotally understandable.
DeleteI think I would rather have insomnia. I'm not fond of sleep actually, and I hate headaches. Easy enough decision for me.
ReplyDeleteYeah, headaches suck.
Deletei wouldnt want either too. but you're asking to choose so insomnia it is.
ReplyDeletehope you get better soon.
Ha ha... yes, it would amaze me if anyone actually wanted either. Thanks :)
DeleteAnother vote for insomnia here although I'm lucky to never to troubled with either.
ReplyDeleteHow fortunate. Most people I know have either one.
DeleteMigraine.
ReplyDeleteOne of the few who'd rather have migraine
DeleteBeing all too familiar with migraine I would choose insomnia. And most of the migraine medication makes you sleepy, so insomnia shouldn't be a problem. What do you take to alleviate it? I have a compound chemist make up a drug called Ergodryl which I take at the first sign of a headache coming on.
ReplyDeleteIf all else fails slather your forehead with tiger balm and take two antihistamines of the "this product will make you drowsy" type and try to sleep it off
my cure is the second one.
Deleteit works for me with Axe Oil.
Nurse, I usually just take Panadol and sleep it off in a cool, dark room. It's not been possible for me to do that this time because I've been so busy.
DeleteSometimes, I just do what Jaya does
Insomnia would be better. At least you can be sort of productive with insomnia?
ReplyDeleteYes, that is quite true
DeleteI hate both, but I've mostly made my peace with insomnia. And pain I never like. SO I'd choose insomnia.
ReplyDeleteAgreed... pain is more horrible than lost sleep for me too.
