  6. Would you believe, I only read that recently! I saw the animated version on TV when I was quite young, and it scared and confused me, rightfully so. My favourite Orwell writings are his collected short stories and essays. Love the man, love the writing.

  7. I don't think this test is very scientific. I've tried it before and discovered I wrote like various authors whose style is completely different from my own. Still, as long as I don't write like Enid Blyton or Barbara Cartland....

  9. Hoozle: Hehehe... me too. I think I read the book late last year only!

    nick: Probably not... I did a small experiment with my older writing. Something I wrote in 2008 was similar to H.P Lovecraft and something from 2006 was similar to Chuck Palahniuk. I had a good laugh.

    Nick Philips: Actually, neither did I. Google him, he's actually got some free online versions of his books.

  11. Apparently i write like James Joyce....hmmm....i tried reading his Portrait blah blah blah book but couldn't get past the first few pages. Perhaps i should have another go at it.
