  2. How fun! Have you read any of Cory Doctorow's books?

Apparently, I write like J.R.R. Tolkien. I'm curious to know this work.

  3. Ryan: I've not been able to read his stuff yet, but he sounds awesome

LMC: I haven't actually... but I found an e-book of his after I took the quiz.

    You got J.R.R Tolkien? Wow...

  4. I got George Orwell, which made me feel terribly smug. I love Orwell...

  5. Yup... I loved Animal Farm.

  6. Would you believe, I only read that recently! I saw the animated version on TV when I was quite young, and it scared and confused me, rightfully so. My favourite Orwell writings are his collected short stories and essays. Love the man, love the writing.

  7. I don't think this test is very scientific. I've tried it before and discovered I wrote like various authors whose style is completely different from my own. Still, as long as I don't write like Enid Blyton or Barbara Cartland....

  8. I write like Cory Doctorow too though for the life of me I don't know who the heck that is ... LOL!

  9. Hoozle: Hehehe... me too. I think I read the book late last year only!

nick: Probably not... I did a small experiment with my older writing. Something I wrote in 2008 was similar to H.P Lovecraft and something from 2006 was similar to Chuck Palahniuk. I had a good laugh.

Nick Philips: Actually, neither did I. Google him, he's actually got some free online versions of his books.
