The "To Do" List

If I had the time to make a "To Do" list,
I can bet it would be 2 miles long.
Everything is shrouded in a mist,
And to be honest, I'd rather write a song.

Scattered on "Post its" on the desktop,
In font size eight.
You could jump, skip and hop,
The burden will still be of the same weight.

Maybe it's time to make a list again,
And happily cross out each line.
Then perhaps I could board a train,
And everything will be fine!

  1. Font size 8 are for ant billboards. I write my stories in size 16 at work. Haha.

    1. Ha ha, they are - though admittedly even the ants seem to ignore them ;)

Just tried size 16 on Word - it's quite pleasing to the eye, not too big, and definitely not too small either. (I use Excel for my job, and 16 is just way too big)

  2. I don't think I could begin to imagine writing up a to do list, let alone actually making it.

    1. It's not easy, and definitely the dullest thing you could ever do. BUT, it does help keep you on track.

  5. A lot of my to do lists eventually get reduced to lists of things I don't do. :P

  6. One of my favourite things is checking off items on a to do list

    1. If I made mine, I'd be happily checking them off too, I guess.

  7. Do you ever put things on a list that you've already done just so you have the satisfaction of immediately crossing them off?

  8. The idea of making a todo list ought to go on my todo list :D

Yes, better to do something than write lists, and a song is a good idea
