This goes out to my future self and anybody who considers themselves accident prone.
"Your eyes are placed where they are placed for a reason. Use them. Besides, metal and bone don't make a good mix and shoulders have a tendency to be bony. "
The left shoulder feels like crap.
Edit: Yes, I have injured myself (being the kind of person I am), but there is no permanent damage (or at least I hope to think so)

IT's THAT TIME OF YEAR AGAIN
Time for the Annual Appraisal again. It's a cloudy Sunday afternoon, and I had just finished giving scores to my subordinates on their ...

Long ago, I once told an old friend of mine that tradition is an inconvenience. At that time we were talking about the chronology of a Tami...

Did you have an accident? Have a piece of metal in your shoulder now? Something is wrong definitely. I don't totally get it. Very sorry to hear that. Hope you start feeling much better soon.
ReplyDeleteOh no.... I was in a hurry earlier today and accidentally hit my shoulder against a metal corner. It hurts when I touch it... that's all.
ReplyDeleteAfter re-reading my post, I understand why you thought I had metal in my bone... sorry for the confusion, and thanks for your concern.... :)
oh, this is much better. Hope it is nothing more than a bruise! You have a nice evening. :)
ReplyDeleteI hope so too... you have a good day too :)
ReplyDeleteAw, Anu! Take care of yourself, please! There is only one of you.
ReplyDeleteI'm always walking into things as well. I used to have a permanent bruise on my thigh from walking into the same printer tray every single day. I think I have very poor physical memory. You're probably the same.
ReplyDeleteOh I will Orhan, thanks... after all, I put this up as a reminder although come to think of it, it kind of beats the purpose after 10 updates... but anyway, I sure do hope there is only one of me around. The last thing I need is a doppelganger ;)
ReplyDeleteAunty: Yes, I am... I do bang into the same things quite often as well! I know I always used to bang into one of the tables in the lab until they moved it away... :)
ReplyDeleteThe problem is, usually when you're watching where you put your feet, you end up banging your head on something you didn't see while you were looking down.
ReplyDeleteTake care.
So, what did you run into?
ReplyDeleteHey Terra! What if the object is a hunk with a body of steel??? Do you still 'look' before you walk?
ReplyDeleteTravis: True... that's one of the problems. Another ids when you're looking at the distance to where you want to go and neglect what's right in front of you...
ReplyDeleteCitizen: Well, they've built this new air shower contraption which we have to pass through before entering the factory. My shoulder hit one of the metal sides as I was hurrying inside before the door closed
Rakesh: If it was a hunk, I'd have knocked some place else... :D
Hope you are doing well, now! Take Care!
